Franklin Turtle

Franklin the Turtle is a series of books and a pre-school television show about a curious child Turtle who is learning about the world and teaches children that they can do things on their own but sometimes need grown-ups to help them. It encourages learning. The television series first aired in November of 1997 and still continues on today with 6 full seasons of Franklin. It was based off the children's story book by Paulette Bourgeois and her illustrator, Brenda Clark.
